An installation that was part of the exhibition “Home” at the Till Richter Museum (Buggenhagen, Germany). It used common fencing material found in and around town to cordon off the wall heaters and then repeated the design along the walls in that room using masonry thread and nails. A utilitarian object turned into a decorative wall design, also recalling stitch patterns, while at the same time opening the discussion about borders, boundaries, and fences.
“Home” was the result of the Museum’s 2015 Rising Star Residency.
